In Loving Memory of John Douglas 'Dad/Poppy'

We are saddened to share the passing of John Douglas, who left us peacefully on Saturday the 5th of April.

John started All Inboard & Outboard Service 50 years ago with a toolbox, and the determination to build something lasting. Over the years, he did just that - building not only a respected business but a legacy that shaped the marine industry in Pittwater.

John trained his apprentices with patience and pride. But his greatest pride came from working side by side with his wife Evelyn and later, with his sons. He ultimately built a family business with a foundation of quality work and integrity.

We thank our wonderful community for the outpouring of support and kind messages.

Douglas Marine is proud to be a third generation family business. Shane and his children, Luke, Michaela and Hamish continue to extend John's legacy in the business.
